Cranfield Business Recovery Welcomes New Director

Published April 2018

Cranfield Business Recovery is delighted to announce that Philip Ballard FCCA FNARA MIPA has been promoted to the position of Director in the business, joining existing Directors Tony Mitchell and Patrick Murtagh.

Ballard joined the team aged just 18 in 2007, quickly advancing to becoming a Manager.  His 10 years experience, coupled with a friendly but efficient style of working made him a natural fit for the promotion. Since joining Cranfield, he has also achieved a wealth of credentials, including ACCA qualification and JIEB Licensed Insolvency Practitioner status.

A former Coventry & Warwickshire First Young Professional of the Year finalist, Ballard is looking forward to the challenge of being a Director. “Over the years I have seen our team move from strength to strength and I am proud to be a part of the high quality service that Cranfield has, and continues to offer.  My promotion now provides me with the ability to fully utilise the skills, expertise and experience gained over the past 10 years to complement the fantastic work that my co-directors and colleagues undertake on a day-to-day basis.

“In the immediate future I will look to build new and maintain existing relationships with fellow professionals in the Coventry and Warwickshire area and beyond. I look forward to providing advice to businesses and their professional advisors, based on my blend of technical insolvency knowledge and pragmatic approach to work.”

Tony Mitchell, Director at Cranfield adds, “We are already well aware of Philip’s abilities as a turnaround specialist and Insolvency Practitioner. We are extremely excited to welcome Philip to the Board of Directors and believe that this appointment will only serve to strengthen the service we offer to our clients.”
